2009 Excellence in Journalism Award Recipient MANSOUR TADROS

Mansour TadrosMansour Tadros is a publisher of the Future News Paper. It is a bi-weekly Arabic English news paper based in Illinois, and covering Wisconsin & Indiana.

Going on six years strong Mansour Tadros is a co-publisher of several books from computer dictionary to children’s books (in 3 different languages), tourist, educational, trade guides as well for the last 30 years.

He is a community, peace and green activist, with a mission in mind to get involved in the changing process of our community, media, and the way we think, “If it hasn't worked for so long time to change it”.

His news paper is known to bring in subject matter that is considered to be Taboo either in politics, social change or when in it comes to women and family equality.

He loves to place articles where the whole family will discuss in the open what they have never discussed before.

He made quite a few people unhappy but, that is the roll the media sometimes has to take to get people to be aware with respect of the way others think and believe.
