Tuesday, MAY 12, 2009:
ADC Chicago is proud to host it's 30th Annual Chicago Media Awards Banquet recognizing the efforts of a mainstream journalists in addressing American Arab issues fairly and objectively and for showing courage in the face of bias. The event also honors local American Arab journalists and news media for their efforts and support in keeping our Chicagoland community informed.

Jay Levine, chief correspondent for CBS 2 Chicago. Mr. Levine was the first Chicago-based reporter to broadcast live from Saudi Arabia the day before the Gulf War began. In 2003, he was the only Chicago television reporter embedded with U.S. troops during Operation Iraqi Freedom, from the deserts of Kuwait to Saddam's palaces in Baghdad. Mr. Levine has traveled throughout the Middle East covering politics and has provided what many consider to be fair and accurate coverage of these important events.
